Another Batman v. Superman rumour to bring you this morning, with reports claiming that classic Superman villain Doomsday will be appearing in the film.
The rumour comes courtesy of Bleeding Cool , with the site claiming that some of their top sources have seen character designs for the villain.
For non comic-book fans, Doomsday is a genetically engineered monster, who famously “killed” Superman in the 1992 run, The Death Of Superman .
The character was even teased in one of the extra features on the Man Of Steel Blu-ray, although at this stage we’ll still be taking this rumour with a pinch of salt, not least because of the wealth of villains already linked to the story…
Directed by Zack Snyder and co-starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg, Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice will open in the UK on 29 April 2016.
