Hear us Hollywood! This month we ask what you’d like to see from Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One
The Force Awakens is still six months away, but we already know plenty about Rogue One, the first Star Wars Anthology film. Godzilla’s Gareth Edwards is directing the spin-off set before A New Hope which centres on the Rebels tasked with stealing the plans for the first Death Star. Think The Dirty Dozen in a Galaxy Far, Far Away.
Edwards showed off several concept images at this year’s Star Wars Celebration, with X-Wings soaring over a jungle landscape and troops on the ground giving the film a Saving Private Ryan on Endor feel. We also know that Felicity Jones will lead the cast as a rebel solider alongside Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed and Ben Mendelshohn.
But none of that matters as far as Wishlist is concerned, because we want to know what YOU want to see from Rogue One. Is a movie that puts the war back into Star Wars the right direction? Should Darth Vader put in an appearance? Do you like the sound of the cast, or is there anyone else you’d like to see don a Rebel jumpsuit? Are space battles a must? Could Jar Jar be a prisoner of war? And with Alexandre Desplat on music duties should he give Star Wars a whole new soundscape, or are John Williams’ cues an essential component? Anything goes in Wishlist.
Post your thoughts on our Facebook or Twitter pages, comment below or email [email protected], and the best of the bunch will be brought to life through the medium of funny drawings in the next Wishlist!
