Is the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer landing today?

UPDATE: No. Sorry, looks like a false alarm. At least we've got the new Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens game to look forward to.

ORIGINAL STORY: Now that The Force Awakens has been released the next Star Wars film the world will see is the first of Disney's 'anthology' series - Rogue One. So far fans have only seen one official photo of the cast and a title image in the style of Star Wars. That might be enough for one fan though, who seems to think the first Rogue One trailer will be dropping today.

A mysterious ad has appeared on YouTube teasing a worldwide trailer at 9.00am EST and as the Redditor points out, the writing seems to be in the same font as the one used in The Force Awakens trailers.

Ok, ok, we know what you're thinking. A font? A font! That's why you think the Rogue One trailer is being released today? We'll admit it's not much to go on, but it wouldn't be the first time we've been told one thing (that the first Rogue One trailer will screen with Captain America: Civil War) and something else has happened entirely. Either way, set your alarm and check back here for all you need to know about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and more.

Directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen and Alan Tudyk, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is scheduled to open in UK and US cinemas on December 16, 2016.
