Got a Rock Band 4 song request? Send it straight to Harmonix

Got a specific song that you've been jonesing to play on a plastic guitar? Has your obsession roared back to life now that you know Rock Band 4 will release later this year? That's awesome, but please don't spam the poor folks' Facebook and Twitter pages with requests - use this handy song request form instead.

I have to wonder how many thousands upon thousands of requests have piled up on Harmonix's various accounts over the years. Sounds mildly terrifying. But now submitting your own request straight to the folks who can actually make it happen is almost suspiciously simple: just fill in the song's title, the artist, and hit submit, for as many songs as you want.

Harmonix isn't making any promises about including every single track that fans suggest, but it does pledge to read every single one. Even the millionth one for "Sweet Child o' Mine".

Rock Band 4 will release on PS4 and Xbox One later this year. Harmonix says it will accommodate previously released Rock Band peripherals and DLC, and that you don't have to worry about getting a bunch of different packages to play all your songs - it will be the Rock Band for this generation of consoles.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
