Robots fight back in new trailer for Tomorrowland: A World Beyond
Another action-packed trailer for Tomorrowland: A World Beyond has arrived online, showcasing a whole new side to the movie’s expansive mythology. Everything that made the previous trailers so intriguing are still present; the mysterious pins, jet packs and awe-inspiring vistas. And now there’s even more fancy gadgetry on display.
Britt Robertson’s youngster Casey guides us through this latest tease, as she discovers a totem that transports her to another world and winds up looping in George Clooney’s grizzled inventor to help her unravel the mystery. That now features more robots! Check out the trailer below:
It’s refreshing to watch a trailer that revs up the action while still keeping the main thrust of its story under wraps. While several questions remain unanswered - What exactly is Tomorrowland? Who the heck are those androids pursuing Robertson and Clooney? And how long did it take him to install that insanely booby-trapped house? - it’s a perfect appetiser for the finished product.
Directed by Brad Bird and co-starring Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, Thomas Robinson Tomorrowland: A World Beyond arrives on May 22.
