Robert Carlyle says I Know You Know
A coming-of-age drama
Director Justin Kerrigan has been a bit quiet since he made his first film. In fact, he’s been very quiet, since that first film (Human Traffic) was back in 1998, nine years ago.
But now the Terrence Malick of the UK is back with I Know You Know, a Welsh-set coming of age drama that has snagged Brit stalwart Robert Carlyle for the lead.
He’ll play a spy who finds that his son ends up getting caught up in the more dangerous side of his work. And after all, what father-son bonding saga is complete without a little… er… Bond-ing? We hope Carlyle was paying attention when playing a Bond villain in The World Is Not Enough.
Kerrigan’s planning to crank his cameras this autumn, though the rest of the cast hasn’t been decided yet.
