The 2013 Tomb Raider reboot was sorely lacking in proper tombs - something sequel Rise of the Tomb Raider aims to fix when it becomes available for Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10 - and 2016 for PC and PS4. But what's waiting for you and Lara inside this new game's ancient crypts? Well, skeletons for one, but also the ability to fire two arrows in quick succession. Not quite historically accurate, maybe, but I’ll take it.
After fans criticized the first (still very good) Tomb Raider game from Crystal Dynamics for not having enough exploration and large-scale puzzles, it looks like Rise will feature a proper return to form. The tombs look massive and full of gasp-inducing scenery, with plenty of traps and hazards to keep players on their toes.
You know, maybe if they'd told me in school that becoming an archeologist would also turn me into a multi-lingual icon, I wouldn't have a Bachelor's in Mass Communication hanging on my wall; I'd have the heads of my enemies.
