Rick and Morty season 3 has a release date! (And here are 5 schwifty moments from the new trailer)

It’s time to get schwifty! Rick and Morty season 3 finally has a release date, and it’s even brought along a trailer packed with murder, mayhem and, yes, Pickle Riiiiiick. It’s promising to be their ‘darkest year’ yet, and that prediction might come to pass if Rick doesn’t get his hands on that sweet, sweet Szechuan sauce.

No more teasing: the release date is set at July 30th at 11:30pm EST on Adult Swim. The accompanying trailer is, suitably, soundtracked by Dizzee Rascal’s Bonkers. That’s putting it mildly…

First things first, Pickle Rick – glimpsed at in the season 3 teaser – is here in all of its (his?) glory – and he’s on the run from some shady-looking government suits. Uh-oh.

Summer’s even shooting someone in cold blood because, uhh, I’ve got nothing.

Hey, look, even Morty’s getting in on the murder-y action by… strangling a man in a bath. Geez, this is dark.

It’s not Rick and Morty without a bizarro version of Rick trying to kill the OG Rick.

And last, but definitely not least: Jerry. Ok, definitely least. Ugh. Go away, Jerry.

There’s just too much to accurately put into words without mashing my head onto the keyboard in excitement JNDSJFNZDKNF – see? Check out the trailer for a whole batch of bonkers action, including SEAL Team Rick, some sort of Mad Max world and a giant (but normal, totally normal) Summer. Enjoy.
