It's incredible to realise that the Street Fighter videogame franchise is over 20 years old now, but shows no sign of becoming any less popular. Fans are already getting a dose of big-screen Street Fighter action this year in the form of The Legend Of Chun Li, but if you're not keen on the film's interpretations of Chun Li or Bison (and, let's face it, that's probably most of you) then free magazine Don't Panic is offering you the opportunity to show you can do better!
They're running a fan art competition and want to see your artistic renderings of your favourite Street Fighter characters, particularly how their spirit, attitude and style could be depicted for 2009. The winning entry will be chosen through votes made by visitors to the magazine's website, and the top prize is a PlayStation 3, a copy of Street Fighter IV and various other Capcom classics, and an original piece of Street Fighter IV artwork signed by producer Yoshinori Ono. The winning piece of artwork will also be printed on posters that will be distributed with Don't Panic. Ten runners up will also receive copies of Street Fighter IV for either Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.
