Ravaged - Free Apocalypse DLC pack coming
Get free weapons, vehicles, and a new map
Many years ago, Lorenzo Veloria was a Senior Editor here at 12DOVE helping to shape content strategy. Since then, Lorenzo has shifted his attention to Future Plc's broader video game portfolio, working as a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to oversee the development of advertising pitches and marketing strategies for the department. He might not have all that much time to write about games anymore, but he's still focused on making sure the latest and greatest end up in front of your eyes one way or another.
Take Battlefield 3's wide-open maps, multiple ground-based and aerial vehicles, and class loadouts, then slap all that onto a post-apocalyptic setting, and you've got Ravaged. The online shooter is already available for download, but in honor of the coming apocalypse, developers 2 Dawn Games will be delivering a free Apocalypse DLC Pack on December 20.
The extra content will include new weapons, like the Nail Gun, gold .357, and MP7, as well as additional silencers and scopes for the AK-47 and M16. The Tractor Tank, two seated Trikes, and a minigun-mounted Mini Chopper have been added to the vehicle roster, along with integrated squad voice chat (VOIP), the new Dust Bowl map, and Auto-Kick features.
Ravaged will also be going on sale on Steam from the current $9.99 to $4.99 starting Thursday, December 20 through Friday, January 4. So, if you were deciding whether to try the game out, now would be a good time.
