Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart raritanium explained
Raritanium is found in crates with glowing, blue crystals poking out, so smash the crates with your Wrench/Hammer to collect the raritanium within. As the name implies, this material is slightly rarer than usual crates, so it's important that you keep an eye out and check your map. The Map-o-Matic, which is found on Ardolis, reveals the locations of all the collectibles, so use this to mop up any raritanium you're yet to find.
To farm raritanium in Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, you should repeatedly play the last few challenges within Zurkie's Battleplex as they can be repeated for sweet raritanium rewards. Make sure you also have the Lombax Praetorian armor set - one of the best Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart armor sets - as it'll increase your raritanium gains. These arena challenges are unlocked late in the game but stocking up on raritanium now for weapon upgrades will make Challenge Mode easier.
Speaking of weapon upgrades, that's what you'll be spending all your raritanium on. Speak to Ms. Zurkon and switch to the upgrades tab to spend raritanium on stat boosts and new abilities for your weapons. If you see the yellow icons, purchase all the surrounding tiles to obtain the bonus in the middle. If you want to fully upgrade all your weapons to level 10, you'll definitely need to do this in Challenge Mode.
