Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft's competitive, team-based, eSports-focused twist on the Rainbow Six formula, has been nudged to December 1, a handful of months back from its previously-announced October 13 release date. Fortunately, the September 24 beta will continue as scheduled, though you'll need to register for your chance to participate.
Ubisoft explained in a blog post that the game is not quite finely-tuned just yet. "Based on the feedback we’ve received, and based on our own internal tests, we felt there are adjustments and improvements we can make, including improving the co-op experience across all game modes, weapon and gadget balancing, as well as menu and interface navigation," the team wrote.
If the extra time helps make R6 Siege - a game we already find incredibly fun - better, maybe that's worth it.
