Purple Man takes centre stage in new Jessica Jones image and motion poster

As we near the November release of the highly anticipated Netflix series Jessica Jones, more and more promos are being unveiled. The latest piece of marketing material comes in the form of an image, which depicts Krysten Ritter’s troubled heroine facing off against David Tennant’s Purple Man, and a motion poster in which the villain takes centre stage.

Check out both below…

Netflix have also released a new synopsis for the show: "Haunted by a traumatic past, Jessica Jones uses her gifts as a private eye to find her tormentor before he can harm anyone else in Hell’s Kitchen."

The marketing for Jessica Jones has kept the Purple Man largely under wraps, and that could very well turn out to be a smart play. One of the many pleasures of Daredevil was Vincent D’Onofrio’s memorable turn as Kingpin, and we don’t have to wait long to find out if Tennant has produced something similar.

Co-starring Mike Colter, Carrie-Anne Moss, Rachael Taylor, Eke Darville and Rosario Dawson, we’ll be able to binge watch all thirteen episodes of Jessica Jones when it arrives on Netflix on November 20 2015.
