This shameless attempt to exploit the performing pooch from Britain’s Got Talent s tarts with said mutt (voiced by David Walliams) grousing about being bored on the set of an Artist -aping film shoot. That’s exactly how you’ll feel after the tedious antics that follow, which see the not particularly appealing canine transplanted to the countryside to help a young family battle a rapacious landowner (John Sessions).
Olivia Colman and Amanda Holden voice some of the animals Pudsey befriends in a flick that has about as much use for his former co-star, trainer Ashleigh Butler, as it does for originality, wit or subtlety.
