Chu-lip
What's it all about?
Chu-lip is one of those strange Japanese games that are hard to classify - think Katamari Damacy-style wonderful weirdness. You've just moved into a new town, where you've fallen head-over-heels in love with a sweet young girl. The local legend says that whomever kisses beneath the ancient tree is fated to live happily ever after, so you know what you've gotta do - find some way to get that lass under there and give her a big ol' smooch!
What's the big deal?
In order to score with your love interest, you'll first have to build a reputation in town. The residents are sad and hopeless, preferring to hide and mope around rather than enjoying life. It's up to you to help them realize their dreams and find happiness. How can you fix that? You gotta spread the love - by spreading lots and lots of kisses. During your quest to create happiness (and get to first base with the girlie), you'll encounter all kinds of strange and interesting situations and characters that make the world of Chu-lip truly unique and memorable.

Natsume first announced Chu-lip a few years back. We're not sure what the hold-up was, but it looks like the game's finally going to see release this Valentine's Day - albeit as an EBGames/Gamestop exclusive. It's not as pretty or refined as some of the other PS2 games due to its age, but it's still got a lot of charm and originality going for it.
