PS Plus members to get free access to DC Universe Online beta
Sony gives the gift of MMO beta testing for the holidays
PlayStation Plus subscribers will soon be receiving free invites to DC Universe Online's beta, according to a release from Sony over on its PlayStation Blog. The release also details a number of upcoming PS Plus promotions.
Other new offers for PS Plus members include free downloads of Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse and Crash Team Racing, as well as discounts on a handful of games including various Neo Geo titles when they hit PSN's NEOGEO Station on December 21st.
We recently spent some time in DC Universe Online and were impressed. The full game has been pushed back to early 2011 launch, so free access to its beta over the holidays is a nice move on Sony's part, but is it enough of an incentive to sway non-PS Plus members into upgrading their accounts?
