Primeval: New World Has Been Axed
But the makers of the show are looking for a new broadcaster (how long before someone mentions Netflix?)
Primeval: New World has not been renewed for a second season by its Canadian broadcaster, but it may not be extinct yet… and that comes from the parahippus’s mouth.
The production team tweeted yesterday: "It's true: @SPACEchannel has decided to not renew #PrimevalNewWorld. We are in talks with other international broadcasters -- stay tuned!"
The show was launched as an "older, darker and scarier" version of the UK Primeval, but has struggled to find an audience on home territory.
Primeval: New World currently airs in the UK on Tuesday nights on Watch. Catch it before it becomes extinct. Again.
How long before the “ Primeval picked up by Netflix” rumours start?
