The other interesting notion is that many special moves and attacks, which are often showcased with a dynamic cutscene, can often be extended or countered if the player properly enters a three-digit button sequence when prompted to do so. Keep your eyes open for these opportunities - they're life-or-death much of the time.
It's no secret that Bandai's anime fighting offerings got stale a long, long time ago. So it’s actually kind of exciting to see them attempting something cool and unique with one of their licensed games this time around. Whether any of these new features work to make the experience an interesting one remains to be seen, but you’ve got to give them credit for trying.
