Power Rangers reboot signs up X-Men: First Class writers
Roberto Orci will executive produce
There looks to be some movement on Lionsgate’s forthcoming Power Rangers update, with the writing team behind X-Men: First Class having signed on to produce a script.
Heat Vision reports that Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz have officially joined the project, while Roberto Orci is also on board in an Executive Producer capacity.
Orci will assist Miller and Stentz in developing a story, before the duo go on and begin work on a fully-blown script, and Orci turns his focus back to Star Trek 3 .
At this stage we’ve no idea what direction the movie will take, but if the series was anything to go by, it will probably involve the Power Rangers having their arses kicked by a seemingly powerful villain, before morphing into their giant robot form and saving the day.
This one is in the very early stages, so no production schedule or release date has been confirmed as yet. However, feel free to start casting the six major roles in the comments box below…
