Pokemusings, week 26
Last minute Pokemon presents for your fellow enthusiasts (or to add to your own wishlist)
Unlike toys (in the plastic sense), there are a ton of great Pokemon stuffed animals. Even ugly legendary Pokemon likeGroudonandHo-Ohmanage to become irresistibly cute when transformed into a stuffed animal. Out of all the cute plushies out there, we have to go with theEevee bundle($44.95). This party of five comes with Eevee, Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Umbreon. Sadly, and rather inexplicably, Espeon gets shafted here.
The official Pokemon store has lots of great clothes for Pokemon fans. Girls have a much cooler selection. Our of the slick tops we perused on the site, we think theJigglypuff Camo Tee($17.97) is tops. First off, it's camouflage, which is just cool. Secondly, it has a cute but wussy Pokemon on it, which makes the camo a bit ironic. For guys, the selection isn't as interesting. The t-shirts are pretty basic, but if we had to pick one, we'd go with thisBonsly shirt ($15.95). It looks good and is likely not nearly as popular as any of the Sinnoh starter shirts. Help your friend's individuality shine through with this t-shirt.
OurPokemon Design Contesthad some truly fantastic entries. It also had some that were... not the best. If you know a Pokemon artist that needs to brush up on his or her skills then you might want to think about getting them thisHow to Draw Pokemon book.
