Design-wise, Mamepato and its evolutions seem superfluous given that we already have a pigeon-inspired Pokemon in Pidgey/Pidgeotto/Pigeot, but at least it does have one interesting thing going for its design, which is the obvious sexual dimorphism of its final evolution, Kenhorou. Pokemon collectors will have to catch both male and female variants for their perfect collections, which always messes up the PC box a little if you organize by ‘dex number.
Kenhorou’s attack stat is almost double its special attack, so don’t even think about teaching it any special attacks. Unfortunately, that rules out a ton of otherwise good Flying-type moves, leaving you with Sky Attack, which Kenhorou learns at level 66 - it takes two turns to strike, but the 140 base power payoff is worth it.
