The idea that a Pokemon could evolve to resemble an object like a Poke Ball is an interesting one. Similar evolutions can be observed in real life too, with animals that have evolved to trick either predators or prey into thinking they're something they're not. The original Red and Blue introducedVoltorbandElectrode, but they were extremely straightforward takes on the concept – both of them just look like Poke Balls with faces, one bigger than the other. Foongus and Amoonguss are more creative takes on the Poke Ball Pokemon design, with the same typing as one of our favorite Pokemon of all time,Venusaur.
