Sony has added another crop of games to its already sizable January PlayStation Store sale in Europe, and this one is the strongest yet. Rather than run down every entry (you can just check the PlayStation Blog for that), here are our picks from the GR+ staff, including snippets from our reviews. Assassin's Creed: Syndicate was £49.99, now £29.99: "There’s a simple, childlike joy in just watching the pieces of Syndicate’s London work together like a giant model set and then a deep satisfaction as you jump in and cause absolute chaos".
Bloodborne Game of the Year Edition was £49.99, now £29.99 (or pick up The Old Hunters DLC by itself for £9.59, down from £15.99): "Bloodborne lies somewhere between Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2, better than the latter but not quite as good as the former".
Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin was £44.99, now £18.00: "You will die many times in many ways, but push on and you'll find this to be an excellent sequel that not only captures the essence of the original, but is a memorable experience in its own right".
Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition was £59.99, now £30: "As before, the instantaneous jump-in co-op makes multiplayer demon killing simple and exponentially more fun".
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture was £15.99, now £9.99: "How The Chinese Room has managed to convey this level of narrative artistry, while simultaneously offering us the freedom to dig through it’s characters’ lives so freely, is beyond me. It has to be experienced to be believed".
Final Fantasy 14 Online was £49.99, now £22.50 (includes both A Realm Reborn and Heavensward): "For new players this is an excellent time to join to see what the fuss is all about".
Towerfall Ascension was £11.49, now £4.99: "TowerFall Ascension’s blend of competitiveness and customization provides you with endless ways to have an incredible time".
