In an industry that's increasingly obsessed with ideas of art, value and legacy, the platform game dares to be different, to be frivolous, unadorned and fun. Today's tester celebrates these disarmingly simple titles, and asks - just how much do you know about platform gaming?

We've got 2D, 3D, even a little 2.5D for you indecisive types, so without any further ado, let's have at it. Stage 1-1 begins…
