Phil Lord and Chris Miller developing story for The Flash movie
This weekend saw Phil Lord and Chris Miller linked to the movie version of The Flash, with the pair said to be Warner’s first pick to direct. Now Deadline has clarified that rumour by reporting that Lord and Miller are indeed involved in the project, but in a script-writing capacity.
According to the report, the pair are developing the story for The Flash and are currently working on a script treatment. Deadline claims that the duo has yet to decide whether they would also like to direct the project…
Lord and Miller are thought to be taking their time over selecting their next directorial project, having worked on both 22 Jump Street and The Lego Movie last year. It has also been reported that Sony is keen to nab them for one of the films in its new Ghostbusters franchise.
The Flash will star Ezra Miller in the title role, and is slated to arrive in cinemas on 23 March 2018. Expect movement on this one sooner rather than later…
