Peter Farrelly talks Dumb And Dumber To plot
"It's a little masterpiece"
With Dumb And Dumber To having found itself new financing and distribution this week, director Peter Farrelly has given an update on the project, explaining what we can expect from the new film.
"I’m telling you, it's a little masterpiece," said Farrelly in an interview with the Nerdist podcast. "It’s so good, I think it makes the first one better. We took two years to work on this script."

"We start in Rhode Island and we pick up today and explain what they’ve been doing the last 18 years," explains the director. "And there is something that happens and we get off to the races quickly.”
"When you see Dumb And Dumber To , [ the original ] Dumb And Dumber is better because you learn things in Dumb And Dumber To that you knew in Dumb And Dumber but hadn’t put together. For instance, not giving away too much, Harry always gets revenge... ”
Oh Peter, you tease. No official confirmation so far as to when the film will be released, but Farrelly has revealed that the plan is for summer 2014. The waiting is nearly over...
