New Ghostbusters outfits and proton pack unveiled by director Paul Feig
Paul Feig has tweeted an exciting new behind the scenes image from his forthcoming Ghostbusters redux, revealing the new uniforms to be worn by Kristen Wiig and co.
The new suits look pleasingly similar to the original incarnations, albeit with some snazzy orange piping thrown in for good measure. Most satisfying is the fact that the logo remains unchanged…

UPDATE: Feig has taken to Twitter again to reveal a first look at the new film's proton packs. It's a gnarled, battered piece of kit, which makes a refreshing change to the sleek updates most sci-fi reboots opt for. Check it out below:

Plot details remain sketchy at this stage, although we do know that the film will see Wiig and Melissa McCarthy play a pair of unsuccessful authors of a book theorising the existence of ghosts. Needless to say, their research comes in handy when said spooks turn out to be real…
Co-starring Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon and Chris Hemsworth, Ghostbusters will open in the US on 22 July 2016. A UK release date has yet to be confirmed.
