Patrick Stewart to star in Mad Max 4?
Sequel may get the Professor X-factor...
Patrick Stewart has hinted at a possible appearance in the forthcoming Mad Max sequel.
The British thesp, best known for exploring the final frontier as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation, looks set to tackle the post apocalyptic world of Mad Max .
Asked in a recent interview whether he would be up for making a movie in Australia, the X-men actor replied;
"I may be back here soon to film a movie with George Miller"
Miller is of course currently working on his sequel to Happy Feet , but Stewart isn't in that - so logic dictates that the actor is reffering to George Miller's much publicised next project; Fury Road .
If Stewart does appear, which would be nothing short of ace, he will provide an experienced head amongst a relatively young cast, with Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravits, Teresa Palmer and Adelaide Clemens all in line to star in the forthcoming sequel alongside Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.
