Paragon, the third-person MOBA from Epic Games, is now live on PC and PS4 - provided you've bought one of the game's Founder's Packs. But even if you're familiar with the genre thanks to games like League of Legends and Dota 2, I'd suggest that before you log in and rush off into battle, you check out 10 tips to help you secure victory:
I know the MOBA genre can be divisive, but I appreciate that Epic Games is embracing the label and not trying to reinvent the wheel. For a while, it seemed like everybody was trying to get in on the craze generated by League, but each studio also wanted to put their own spin on things. Other than the third-person perspective, Paragon seems like exactly what you'd expect from a MOBA, and I'm okay with that. Better to have a finely-tuned system that works than changing things just for the sake of changing them.
Since the game is in early access, expect it to grow and change over time. Paragon's full release is slated for June 7.
