How to get Wheat Seeds in Palworld
Palworld Wheat Seeds are a drop from certain Grass-type Pals
Palworld Wheat Seeds are special drops from Pals you've defeated or caught, but only if you can beat the right ones - and finding them is not easy. Finding wheat seeds is something you'll need to do to make one of the game's early plantations, and unless you're willing to shell out to a merchant, you'll likely have to explore a little to find what you're looking for. It's worth it though - those with wheat plantations can farm bread for the rest of the game! With that in mind, here's how to find Wheat Seeds in Palworld and make a plantation.
Wheat Seeds location in Palworld
You can get Wheat Seeds in Palworld by buying them from merchants in Settlements as well as occasionally finding them in chests, but you can also get them more reliably by slaying and/or catching certain Pals who drop Wheat Seeds, including any of the following:
- Bristla
- Dinossom
- Flopie
- Cinnamoth
- Robinquill
Dinossom tend to spawn very close to the starting area in Palworld, but they're a bit tough if you haven't hit level 15 or higher yet. A better approach is to head North/Northwest to the forested area past the settlements and start hunting for Bristlas and Flopies that you can battle.
You only need 5 Wheat Seeds to build a Wheat Plantation, at which point - if set up properly - you'll never run out of Seeds or Wheat, either tending the plantation yourself or having your working pals do so under your command. The Wheat Plantation itself is locked on the Tech Tree until you unlock it at level 15, so make sure you actually know how to set it up at your base! You'll also want to craft a Mill, a special base resource that turns Wheat into Flour, and thus allows you to start cooking with it.
