Orlando Bloom says he could return for next Pirates movie
Orlando Bloom may not have hung up his cutlass after all, with the star revealing that he could be about to return for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Having seen Jack Sparrow become the lead character of On Stranger Tides, Bloom reveals that he may be restored to action in what could turn out to be a reboot of the popular franchise…
“I’m not entirely sure that [I'll be back] just yet, but there are talks,” says Bloom. “Basically they want to reboot the whole franchise, I think, and do something with me and the relationship with my son.”
“I’m of course Davy Jones now,” he continues, “so I’m down the bottom of the ocean. It might be kind of fun to do something where I’m rumbling round the bottom of the ocean, because I won’t look anything like me.”
Directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, and co-starring Johnny Depp and Brenton Thwaites, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will open in the UK and US on 7 July 2017.
