The worst videogame music you've ever heard

Christmas NiGHTS into Dreams

We were considering the ultra-cheesey "Dreams, Dreams" theme song from Sega Saturn's NiGHTS into Dreams for this list, but even though it's awful, we're actually quite fond of it. But then we remembered the special bonus you get for finishing both Claris and Elliot's levels from the 1996 holiday giveaway Christmas NiGHTS. It's an a capella version of the main theme by (wait for it) Boyz II Menand... well, it's just horrible.

Close-harmony singing implies harmony of some sort, right? But the dissonance is so bad here, we reckon it has to be accidental. Has to be. No-one would write a piece of music to sound like this unless it was designed as some kind of torture. You know, like the musical equivalent of Monty Python's killing joke. My dog's got no ears... Lucky he'll never be able to listen to this then.
