No more Stuntman or Juiced games

THQ has said that it won't be making any more games from the Stuntman or Juiced franchises, presumably because they're not bringing home the bacon.

Within the company's recent financial update is word that THQ expects to record non-cash charges of approximately $27 million related to "the company's decision not to pursue its Juiced and Stuntman intellectual properties" as well as "the cancellation of the PlayStation 3 version of Frontlines: Fuel of War (and Destroy All Humans!: Big Willy Unleashed on PS2).

Word slipped out last weekfrom retailers that Frontlines on PS3 was in trouble.

The Stuntman series may have ran its course many years ago, but Juiced? That's still a relatively new kid on the tuned-racing circuit. It's developed by Juiced Games (duh), and what happens to the Warrington-based outfit remains to be seen. A Juiced FPS? We doubt it.

The company has also closed its Concrete Games studio (and its website), which was comprised of members who had worked on titles such as Halo, Halo 2 and Medal of Honor. The studio was working on an unannounced title. "Was" being the operative word.
