Nic Cage talks Ghost Rider 3
“It’s possible, but it won’t be with me”
Fans of clammy-palmed, wide-eyed mania will be disappointed to learn that Nicolas Cage has all but ruled himself out of appearing in a third Ghost Rider film.
A known comic-book obsessive, Cage has always had a soft spot for the Rider (despite a lukewarm reception from fans and critics alike), but it seems as though he won’t be taking the character any further.
“It’s possible,” replied Cage when asked by Collider whether a third film might be on the agenda. “But it won’t be with me.”
“I’ve said what I have to say,” he continued. “I don’t want to say never… anything’s possible. But I doubt, highly, that I would be in a third installment of that.”
Sounds pretty definitive to us. Never fear though, Cage fans. We’re sure he’ll be along in something equally bonkers in due course…
