NFS Carbon trailer

DS doesn't have many racing games to its name but it can still keep up with the big boys, as this trailer for Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City proves. Just hit the Movies tab to see it.

The movie shows flashy street racing action, comic-style cutscenes (much like those in the PSP version of the game) and also gives us a taster of the car modification options. Of course, it's unlikely the incredibly comprehensive Autosculpt mode from the console versions will feature fully, but it's nice to know we'll be able to make our rides stand out from the pack.

DS has seen the series before, with Need for Speed Underground 2, but the results were less than spectacular. Here's hoping EA is adding generous coats of playability paint to the already impressive bodywork in time for its Halloween release.
