We might know the names of the next 27 Assassin's Creed heroes
The Eagle has Landed
We don't know a whole lot about Assassin's Creed Unity besides its name and setting, but rumors are that the hero will be named Arnaud, which means "eagle power." Sounds weird, right? Well, not exactly--it actually makes perfect sense. Assassin's Creed's heroes have followed fairly recognizable naming conventions since the onset, and this is simply the next natural evolution. Ezio means "eagle" as well, Altair means "bird," and Haytham means "young eagle."
Which got us wondering can we just go ahead and predict the names of the next few Assassin's Creed heroes right now? Sure, there might be some curveballs, like Connor or Edward, who actually weren't born to Assassins, but we figure there's a good chance that we can tell you what Japan, Egypt, and Somalia's Assassin's might be named. Let's take a look (and, unless otherwise stated, these are all translations for the word "eagle")...

I've seen enough: Assassin's Creed Shadows will beat Black Flag as my favorite AC game as Ubisoft says it lets you "Naruto run" as the "fastest Assassin" it's ever made
Ubisoft had to "retool" the mobile game lore for Assassin's Creed Shadows, with a brand new modern narrative that "will develop over time"
