We think we have it good these days, but Nintendo is determined to prove us wrong on two fronts. First, courtesy ofGame|Life, we have a look at the list of games that will hit the Wii's Virtual Console in Japan by the end of the year. Sure, a few of them are Japan-only stuff we don't even want, but there are some serious hits and hidden gems in that list, too: Gunstar Heroes, Super Castlevania IV, Donkey Kong Country and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past are just a handful of the top-tier titles. But it doesn't stop there. Just yesterday, we in the GamesRadar offices were lamenting the fact that Club Nintendo, an awesome bonus program the company runs in Japan, still hasn't been introduced in the US. And then today, wouldn't you know it -- Joystiq posteda storycomplete with some fine examples of the swag the Japanese can get for free... just for being a die-hard Nintendo fan. Using points packed in with every game release, gamers can purchase this stuff. Hitthe Joystiq storyfor a glimpse of what we're not getting, including a universal TV remote that looks mighty familiar.

Not for everyone
Left Behind: Eternal Forcessimply isn't a very good game. But it's getting a lot of attention for a couple of reasons: one, because it's based on the phenomenally popular Christian novel series, and two, because it appears to promote violence against non-Christians. AsNext Generation reports, one Christian group has come out to publically denounce the game, which is gratifying to those of us who don't like the idea of being gunned down in the streets if the Rapture hits.Kirk Cameronhas not commented as of press time.
