Power to the truth! PSP: swallowed by a Snake
Got you covered
Your PSP looks lonely. Naked. Or maybe you already have some sort of case. What's so special about it? It can't possibly match up to the one pictured above for sheer balls-out badassness. Come on, does your case have a picture of Big Boss on it? Didn't think so. That's right: if you preorder Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, you can encase your PSP inthis silver protector (we somehow doubt it's bulletproof, as appropriate as that would be.) Just head to EB Games, GameStop, Game Crazy or konami.com - and get your Big Boss on. Literally.
Find Wii
Want a Wii? Someone has dug up a list of each Target store in the entire country - and the number of Wii systems it's getting on launch day (that's November 19 here in North America.) Cooler, though, is that the index has been dumped into asimple search application that lets you look for a store by name, area code, or whatever else you want. Aside from a few stores that have blank entries, it seems like 24 is the fewest Wiis you'll see at Target.
Scared of girls?
Akira Yamaoka, the man behind the Silent Hill horror series, is looking into making an entirely new type of game: Adult Power, based on a Japanese book by the same name that's designed to ease social situations.DS Fanboysuggests there's a dating slant to the book, thoughGame|Lifesimply describes it as an etiquette sim. Either way, the obvious suggestion is that it's a cash-in on the whole Brain Age fad. Nintendo's owncommon sense training gamewhich came out a week and a half ago is another example. At any rate, we'd hate to suggest that Yamaoka would go for such a cheap tactic - so there's probably something here. Cultural differences between Japan and the US make it seem really unlikely that we might see Adult Power over here, though.
