Newest Soulcalibur V trailer has Ivy with newcomers Natsu and Zwei in action
Straight out of Comic-Con comes the first gameplay footage of the recently introduced fighters
Yesterday we were very excited to share with you thefirst info on the newest Soulcalibur V fighters, chief among them femme fatale Ivy, along with newcomers Natsu, a 17-year-old ninja, and Zwei, the franchise’s newest bad boy. Yesterday we had screens, and those images were certainly pretty, but doesn’t footage of gameplay communicate the qualities of a title better than a still image? We think so, and that’s why we share with you now the newest trailer for SCV featuring high-impact moves from all three of the new fighters.
Taking place 17 years after the last game, this kind of break in story might allow for developer Project Soul to really expand creatively, though the footage we’ve seen so far looks to stick to Soucalibur’s roots. After seeing the new characters in motion, are you more or less excited for SC’s future?
