Newegg's Presidents' Day sales have arrived, and you'll be able to snag a bunch of gaming PCs, components, and gaming laptops for less today. The retailer knows its stuff when it comes to stocking high tech hardware, but events like this make for a great way to snag offers that normally won't crop up until the end of the year. So, if you're not into waiting for Black Friday, get in on these tasty tech offers.

Whether you've got your sights set on a gaming PC deal, gaming laptop deal, or some computing components, Newegg has a consistently brilliant selection of gaming goodies. The best part is, Newegg puts on a great show, especially when it comes to value for money in the gaming PC market. Over Black Friday we saw some great discounts on PCs since the demand throughout 2023 hadn't been the best. We'd especially recommend that entry-level PC hunters are keen-eyed for Presidents' Day since the best deals so far seem to be from this region of the price scale.

Even laptops with 13th-generation processors and 40-series GPUs have joined in on the Presidents' Day Sale celebrations, meaning it's not just older stock that's getting a price cut. If you're looking for more gaming deals that aren't so computing-based, be sure to take a gander at our Presidents' Day sales for gamers page. All budgets and preferences have been considered so that you can make an informed purchasing decision.

Lenovo Legion T5 gaming PC$849.99$669.99 at NeweggSave $180

Lenovo Legion T5 gaming PC | $849.99 $669.99 at Newegg
Save $180 - The value for money here is ludicrous - especially compared to a few years ago. I remember buying an entry-level gaming PC in 2020 and I paid this sort of money and didn't even get a GPU in my machine. For under $700 here you get an RTX 3060, a Ryzen 5 5000 series processor, 16GB of DDR4, and a 512GB SSD.

Buy it if:

✅ You're looking for an entry-level gaming rig
✅ You don't mind being stuck to DDR4
✅ You're on a strict budget

Don't buy it if:

❌ You want to be able to upgrade more than the GPU
❌ You need a bigger SSD

Yeyian Yumi Gaming PC | $1,199.99 $799.99 at Newegg
Save $400 -

Yeyian Yumi Gaming PC | $1,199.99 $799.99 at Newegg
Save $400 - This may be a DDR4 system, but it's a decent price so it's still worth thinking about. Inside you get an Intel Core i5-12400F CPU, an RTX 4060, 1TB SSD, and 16GB of DDR4. Luckily, the motherboard and CPU both seem DDR5 compatible, and the 650W PSU would absolutely be capable of upgrades later.

Buy it if:

✅ You're looking for 1080p and light 1440p performance
✅ You want futureproofing
✅ You want a gaming PC for under a grand

Don't buy it if:

❌ You want DDR5 out of the box
❌ You want the latest in i5 performance

Acer Predator Orion 3000 | $1,199.99 $699.99.99 at Newegg
Save $500 -

Acer Predator Orion 3000 | $1,199.99 $699.99.99 at Newegg
Save $500 - Interestingly, we actually saw a very similar Acer Nitro deal at almost the exact same price for Presi Day last year. This build comprises a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13400F CPU, 16GB of DDR5, 1TB of SSD, and a lovely little RTX 3050. For an entry-level gaming PC under $700, that's actually pretty adorable, and it's all powered by Acer, which is a very reliable brand in this space.

Buy it if:

✅ You're a first-time gaming PC buyer
✅ Your budget is tight
✅ You're ok with 1080p specs to begin with

Don't buy it if:

❌ You aren't keen on loud fans
❌ You want a better GPU

Save $300 -

ABS Stratos Aqua Gaming PC | $1,499.99 $1,099.99 at Newegg
Save $300 - You get an all-star cast in this rig, which, for just over a grand, is a bit of a steal. Inside we have a 13th Gen Intel Core i5, MSI RTX 4060 Ti, 16GB of Kingston Fury RGB DDR5 RAM, a 1TB Kingston 1TB SSD, and a clean white case that has a tempered glass panel.

Buy it if:

✅ You're looking for a ready-to-go 1440p machine
✅ You like MSI and Kingston
✅ You have the budget for something more than entry-level

Don't buy it if:

❌ You have 4K ambitions
❌ You want to upgrade later without getting a new PSU.

Ipason Gaming Desktop | $1,799.99 $1,099 at Newegg
Save $700 -

Ipason Gaming Desktop | $1,799.99 $1,099 at Newegg
Save $700 - This has a pretty gargantuan saving to it, and arguably, this PC should never be set up as high as $1,799 anyway. Regardless, Ipason has a hell of a rig for the price here - you get an AMD Ryzen 5 7500F CPU, an RTX 4060, 32GB of DDR5, and a 1TB SSD. Especially since 32GB of DDR5 is worth considering.

Buy it if:

✅ You're a content creator
✅ You need the RAM
✅ You want to play VR games

Don't buy it if:

❌ You need a better CPU/GPU

✅ You want something with new-gen parts
✅ You're on a budget

Ever since playing Journey at the age of 15, I’ve been desperate to cover video games for a living. After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a degree in Journalism, I contributed to the Scottish Games Network and completed an Editorial Internship over at Expert Reviews. Besides that, I’ve been managing my own YouTube channel and Podcast for the last 7 years. It’s been a long road, but all that experience somehow landed me a dream job covering gaming hardware. I’m a self-confessing PlayStation fanboy, but my experience covering the larger business and developer side of the whole industry has given me a strong knowledge of all platforms. When I’m not testing out every peripheral I can get my hands on, I’m probably either playing tennis or dissecting game design for an upcoming video essay. Now, I better stop myself here before I get talking about my favourite games like HUNT: Showdown, Dishonored, and Towerfall Ascension. Location: UK Remote
