Cruise and his mates line-up for cool cast shot

We can't wait for Valkyrie - we don't care what any of the Cruise-bashers say, anyone with even a passing interest in the story (gang of Nazis try to take down Hitler) has to agree it's as cinematic as true stories get; the end scenes alone will be worth the price of the popcorn.

And our sense of anticipation has increased ten-fold now we've seen the latest official photo. It consists of - deep breath - Kevin McNally, Christian Berkel, Bill Nighy, Tom Cruise, Terence Stamp, David Schofield and Kenneth Branagh standing about looking serious, and you can see it over at Dark Horizons .

Any film that can make Branagh look like a bad-ass is all right by us.

Valkyrie is currently being shot in Berlin for a 2008 release.
