You season 5

Release date: April 24, 2025
Available on: Netflix

Hello, You season 5. The hit Netflix show is coming back for one last ride. While not much is known about the plot just yet, season 4 saw Joe Goldberg go public and relocate back to New York City. Will his crimes finally catch up to him? We'll have to wait and see when the final episodes hit Netflix. A first teaser has been released, but it doesn't do much to clear up the mystery.

The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2

Lauren Cohan as Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan in The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2

Release date: May 4, 2025
Available on: Apple TV Plus, AMC

If you are like us, you love watching all of The Walking Dead's series in order. So, of course, you must be excited for Dead City season 2 (aka the first sequel to the main Walking Dead series). The show follows characters Maggie and Negan as they have to make their way through and survive a zombie-filled Manhattan. Season 1 saw the pair searching for Maggie's kidnapped son, and its follow-up looks to be just as intense and packed with high stakes. If you are a horror fan, this is a new show that you won't want to miss.

Ironheart

Available on: Disney Plus

While not much is known yet about Ironheart, featuring Dominique Thorne's Riri Williams following in the footsteps of her idol, Tony Stark, we do have a release date. The show has been a long time in the making, and picks up with the character after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana all also star in the show.

Squid Game season 3

Squid Game season 2

Release date: June 27, 2025
Available on: Netflix

Squid Game season 3 will bring Netflix's mega-hit to an end. Set after the dramatic events of the second season, the new outing will begin in the middle of the games. With Gi-hun and the Front Man on opposing sides once more too, it's unclear just who will succeed, and what it will cost them. Netflix has confirmed the third season arrives in June, so we don't have long to wait.

Peacemaker season 2

Release date: August 2025
Available on: Max

John Cena returns as Peacemaker in season 2 of the hit DC show, which is arriving this summer. It's debuting as part of the new DCU Chapter One: Gods and Monsters, too, but it remains to be seen how that might affect what is and isn't canon from season 1. Like season 1, it will be eight episodes long.

Alien: Earth

The xenomorph in Alien: Earth

Release date: Summer 2025
Available on: FX on Hulu (US), Disney Plus (international)

Alien: Earth is coming to FX from Noah Hawley, and it already looks seriously terrifying just from the early trailers. The show stars Syndey Chandler as a young woman who goes up against a deadly threat following a mysterious crash-landing on Earth. We're assuming that the threat is xenomorph-related…

Wonder Man

Yahya Abdul Mateen II in Wonder Man (2025)

Release date: December 2025
Available on: Disney Plus

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars in this new Marvel show as Wonder Man, which was first announced back in 2022. "We have a show coming up that we've talked very little about called Wonder Man, that I won't talk about much today either except to say it's extremely different," Kevin Feige has previously teased of the show.

Stranger Things season 5

Finn Wolfhard as Mike, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, and Noah Schnapp as Will in Stranger Things season 4

Release date: 2025
Available on: Netflix

Stranger Things season 5 is the final installment in the hit Netflix show, which means it's not one to miss. So far, the plot is shrouded in mystery – there's not even a trailer yet – but we're expecting an emotional send-off for Hawkins. "We know what the ending is," Matt Duffer previously said during an interview with our sister publication SFX. "It's conceivable that it changes but I think it's unlikely because it's one of those endings that just feels, and has always felt, right. It also feels sort of inevitable. Then when you come up with it, you're like, 'Oh yeah well, that is absolutely what is has to be.'"

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Peter Claffey as Dunk in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Release date: 2025
Available on: HBO/Max

Get ready to return to Westeros with upcoming Game of Thrones spin-off A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. This show is based on George R.R. Martin's Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas, with Peter Claffey starring as Ser Duncan the Tall and Dexter Sol Ansell playing Egg. Here's hoping this tides us over while we wait for House of the Dragon season 3.

Wednesday season 2

Jenna Ortega as Wednesday

Release date: 2025
Available on: Netflix

Jenna Ortega is back in Wednesday season 2, the next installment in one of the most popular Netflix shows ever. Intriguingly, Joker: Folie à Deux star Lady Gaga has also joined the cast for the second season, though her role is a mystery for now. Expect more delightfully spooky, gothic vibes in this installment.

It: Welcome to Derry

Welcome to Derry still

Release date: 2025
Available on: HBO/Max

This show is set to explore the origins of Pennywise, focused on the Hanlon family (Mike Hanlon is one of the kids in the Losers Club). "It's so rich with characters and events, we thought we would do justice to the book and the fans by going back into this world," Andy and Barbara Muschietti told EW of the show. "Specifically, we are telling the stories of the interludes, writings by Mike Hanlon based on his investigation that includes interviews he conducts with the older people in the town. In Welcome to Derry, we touch on the usual themes that were talked about in the movie – friendship, loss, the power of unified belief – but this story also focuses on the use of fear as a weapon, which is one of the things that is also relevant to our times."
