New Transformers pics online

The first few official pics from Transformers have been shoved online.

While they're distinctly robot-free, they show the cast and crew filming in Cairo, Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox running for their lives from a typical bout of Bayhem and Shia in the middle of yet more chaos. Click on our gallery to see them all.

Meanwhile, Michael Bay and co have been chatting to USA Today about filming on the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, which will be added to other footage shot in Cairo to make for a massive battl scene.

Shooting Range

"They let us do the run of things," Bay tells the paper. "We have so many military assets because this is a great middle ground between a bunch of bases. Plus, this is a missile range — we can just fire into the set. It's a great place." Sounds ike he was in paradise.

And Josh Duhamel clearly knows what his director is thinking: "He's like a big kid who loves to do stuff like this." With real troops involved in filming alongside F22 jets and an army of VFX techs making sure the warring robots are in the right place, it sounds like it'll be an impressive sequence when Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen opens this summer...

Question: Excited? Are you looking forward to seeing a giant robot smash that pyramid with one blow of its metal fist?
