New Thor: Ragnarok set photos have Anthony Hopkins rocking a hobo look
At the end of Thor: The Dark World it was revealed that Tom Hiddleston's Loki is impersonating Sir Anthony Hopkins' Odin on the throne of Asgard, leaving us all to wonder what happened to the real protector of the nine realms. Some new photos from the set of Thor: Ragnarok (courtesy of Glenn Hunt) has given us the first hint of that answer, and it's fair to say Odin has seen better days.

The photos seem to indicate that Odin - who is sporting a hobo look - has been exiled to Midgard, and that Thor (who is also in normal clothes) has teamed up with Loki to find him. Exactly how the All-Father winded up in his new circumstance is anyone's guess at this point, but Hopkins looks to be having a great time playing a much different version of his normally regal character. With that said, he'll probably be back in Asgardian armour sooner rather than later.
Directed by Taika Waititi and starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Cate Blanchett, Karl Urban, and Mark Ruffalo, Thor: Ragnarok will be released in UK cinemas on October 27, 2017 before opening in US theatres on November 3, 2017.
