When you beat the first level of the game, as well as beat a level while rescuing a captured toadstool (1-player only) the old 8-bit end music will play from the original Super Mario Bros.

Sparkling Stars - Beat the game without Super Guide appearing.
Star 1 - Beat the game.
Star 2 - Beat every normal level
Star 3 - Collect all 207 star coins in the first 8 worlds.
Star 4 - Collect all 24 star coins in world 9.
Star 5 - Beat every level, find every secret goal and use all of the warp cannons.

Unlocking World 9
World 9: To unlock World 9, you must beat World 8, and collect all the star coins. For instance, if you get all the star coins in World 1, you get 9-1. If you get the star coins in World 6, then you get 9-6!

Infinite Toad Houses
Infinite Toad houses: To get Infinite Toad houses, you must get, "ALL" the star coins in the game. That includes World 9.
