New SSX trailer excites our brain, hurts our ears

A new trailer for EA Sports' SSX has fist pumped its way out of the seedy dance halls of Gamescom 2011 promising phat beats, extreme snowboarding action, expansive multiplayer hijinx and more than a few noise complaints from the neighbors. Crack out the glow sticks, whip out the candy necklaces and try to keep up with the bombasticpre-alpha footage:

Formerly known as SSX: Deadly Descents, SSX tricks out the long running winter sport franchise with global multiplayer events (up to 1000 players at a time, we're rold), real world locales, more exploration, ghost competition modes, emergency scenarios and lots of impossibly cool people pulling off stunts that would kill a normal human being. GR had a chance to hit the virtual slopes of SSX at E3. Read ourearly impressionsto see how EA plans to get serious with theextreme snowboardingseries.

SSX is being developed for PS3 and Xbox 306 and is expected to land effortlessly and pick up tons of chicks in the clubhouse in January 2012.
