We’ve already promoted the hyper-colorful loveliness that is Saints Row: The Third's Professor Genki, the over-the-top tribute to Japanese game show cruelty. We love his giant cat head, his mind-control octopus gun, and his canon with human ammo. But what about his day job, the deadly game show Professor Genki’s Super Ethical Reality Climax? This new trailer functions as both a commercial for the show and preview of the player missions you’ll murder your way through in the game.
As you can see (unless the warning of flashing light caused you to ignore the footage), Professor Genki’s show is a bit more like Saw than X-Factor, as you escape death traps and shoot costumed degenerates while running for your life. We just hope Genki survives the violent retribution the Saints will no doubt give him. That cat-headed man has sequel potential written all over him. Or how about a spin-off?
