New red band trailer for The Man With The Iron Fists: watch now

The Man With The Iron Fists has released what must be a contender for the goriest trailer of the year, as RZA introduces his grisly kung-fu love letter with considerable style.

The film sees RZA (who also directs) star as the resident blacksmith of a small Chinese village, forced by various violent clans to provide them with an elaborately designed arsenal of weapons.

As the war between these rival factions threatens to tear his village apart, the blacksmith takes the opportunity to turn himself into a deadly weapon, and sets about attempting to protect his fellow townsfolk from their fearsome invaders.

Check out the new trailer, below…

We warned you it was gory! The film is presented by Quentin Tarantino, and seeing Lucy Liu presiding over a blood-spattered martial arts brawl is more than a little reminiscent of Kill Bill . Then again, that film didn't have Russell Crowe on board as a scowling, blade-toting killer…

Co-directed by RZA and Eli Roth and co-starring Jamie Chung, Rick Yune and Pam Grier, The Man With The Iron Fists opens in the UK on 16 November 2012. Not one for the sensitive of stomach...
