A new image has been released from Prometheus , Ridley Scott’s upcoming sci-fi spectacular, and it’s every bit as enigmatic as those that have gone before it.
Once again, we’re afforded another look at our intrepid band of space explorers, without getting much more of a sense of what exactly they’ve discovered out where no one can hear you scream.
This latest snap features Noomi Rapace and Logan Marshall-Green looking quizzically at something out of shot. Perhaps its that massive stone head that keeps cropping up? Or maybe it’s a Facehugger… we just don’t know.
It’s worth noting the strange markings on the wall behind our heros – are these the etchings of some kind of alien race? And is that water running through the foreground? Where exactly are they, anyway?
So many question, so few answers, but whatever Prometheus ’s secrets turn out to be, there’s no debating Ridley Scott’s ability to work his audience into a frenzy of anticipation! The film opens in the UK on 1 June 2012.
