New NiGHTS screens touch down
Dream 'em up still looking fabulous
But while the boss section looks good and NiGHTS' trail of stars and paraloop vortex look magical enough, we have to say we're a little concerned that the environments of the water level look - dare we say it - a little dull in places. And where are the hoops NiGHTS flies through to get links, points and power to charge his boost? The levels look very empty right now which makes us wonder how early these screens are.
Of course, these are just static pictures and we remember how awful the screenshots of Super Mario Sunshinelooked when we first saw them. And that turned out fine. But we can't help but remember the words of Yuji Naka (former head of Sonic Team) when he said NiGHTS was like ET. He said he was so happy with it - like Speilberg with that film - he would never remake it. Now he's left the team and it's getting made, can Journey of Dreams really live up to the original? We wait with bated breath.
If you didn't do so earlier, check out the rest of the new screenshotshere.
Above: This image fills our hearts with joy. But some of the others fill them with doubt...
